Classic Ham Glaze

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2013
Excellent recipe! I prepare just as directed and have made this a regular in our dinner. I love to use the left over ham in this recipe too: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/old-fashioned-mac-and-cheese/detail.aspx

Old Fashioned Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
Love this recipe! After making it a few times, I tweak it just a little. I always cut up my left over ham from this recipe, http://allrecipes.com/recipe/classic-ham-glaze/detail.aspx, and add it to the mac and cheese. I bake 25 minutes and then top with Kraft Fresh Takes Cheddar Jack and Bacon, and bake uncovered for the remaining 20 minutes.

Garlic Dill New Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
Awesome recipe! I used dried dill, 1 tsp, and yukon gold potatoes (cut up and steamed for 12 min) and it turned out wonderful. A definite keeper!

Cajun Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
I have made this a few times now. I only use a half recipe for my hubby and I, and sometimes I don't even marinade the 30 minutes. I Also add hot cajun seasoning (Penzeys spices) to make it more spicy, but this is great just as is. The spice combination works great in grilled burgers too!

My husband and I love it. I didn't have saffron, but it was great anyway. Thanks for submitting!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2006
My first attempt at apple pie, actually any pie. It turned out beautiful! Although I have to admit I thought it was going to be a bust when I couldn't lattice the crust. But even an amatuer like me couldn't mess this pie up! Wonderful!

Chris' Bay Area Burger

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2006
Burger was good, moist and stayed together well. It was a bit spicy for me, but I will try it again with less basil and smaller garlic cloves.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2006
Very good chicken. I hate mushrooms, but grilled the chicken up anyway without them and it was wonderful! Was great as leftovers too.

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2005
Simple and delicious! It was too hot to grill out, but I used someone else's recommendation and simmered the chicken in the marinade with pineapple chunks. Very good!

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2005
My husband loved these potatoes. On the other hand, I thought they were just a little bland. Not bad, I have definitely had worse, but not 5 stars. I will try them again sometime though.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2005
This was the first recipe I made out of my new cookbook, tried and true favorites. The flavor was wonderful, and I am not a big mushroom fan (and neither is my husband who raved about it). I didn't have cream cheese with chives on hand, but the ordinary cream cheese worked just fine. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Souvlaki

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2005
My husband (the pork hater) loved this recipe. It reminded me of a family marinade we currently use for beef. I would have never thought of using it with pork! Wonderful recipe, thanks!

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2005
Made this ham for my first family lunch. I used a 6lb boneless ham. I followed this recipe pretty cloely, substituting whole cloves on the ham rather than ground cloves in the glaze. I also added pineapple rings to the ham the entire time it cooked. The ham turned out delicious. The glaze was wonderful as a gravy, although I was the only person to have the gravy. Thanks for the great recipe!

The potatoes were a little bland, but not bad. I will try this recipe again, with a few substitutions to add some more flavor. Thanks!

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2004
I've made this dish for a work lunch, and it worked well in a slow-cooker (4hrs on high), but of course I left off the crunchy topper. Unfortunately, I need to modifiy it a little to get my husband to like it, probably just taking out some of the onions and sour cream. But I love this dish!!

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2004
I've made this quite a few times now, and it's always a hit. I usually substitute the crust with a sugar cookie mix, just because I normally don't have a lot of time. I use fresh strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, and bananas.
