Blueberry Muffins II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
My picky 2 year old loves these. I omit the sugar topping and mashed berries b/c I like to keep things simple. I have subbed in almond flour for half of the AP flour for extra nutrition and calories and have have had success (although they're a bit more crumbly while hot). Thanks for the great recipe!

Spicy Lentil Nachos

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
Despite his skepticism while these were cooking, my husband loved these. I thought they could use a bit more spicing up. The recipe doesn't indicate to cover the lentils while they cook, but mine dried out while still crunchy, so I had to add water. Next time I'll cover.

Being vegetarians we replaced the ham with broccoli. Turned out great!

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2006
Delicious! Used ground flax instead of wheat germ and they came out wonderfully! Omitted the granola topping. Great treat for a lady in the first trimester -- gentle on the stomach and much tastier than crackers!

Cream of Broccoli Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2005
This recipe didn't strike big with me or my husband. Ours wasn't very flavorful and was very liquidy. Adding a potato to the recipe didn't seem to thicken it much. Topping it with mounds of cheese and lots of pepper helped, but I don't think we'll be making it again.

Indian Peanut Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2005
It was okay. If I make it again I will definitely halve the amount of peanut butter. Also would recommend adding more vegetables.
