Irish Soda Farls

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
Simple. Delicious! I made mine vegan by putting 1 TBSP of cider vinegar in a cup and filling it to the 1 cup mark with plain soy milk. My son has a dairy allergy AND I didn't have buttermilk in the house anyway.

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
These peppers are amazing! I added garlic and used a red and an orange pepper because I like them better than green. Absolutely LOVED them!

Honeyed Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
Absolutely delicious! What a great pair of sweet and spicey! I added things that I had in the house,....potatoes, zucchini and orange bell pepper instead of green. Doubt I'll ever try another stew again.

Absolutely delicious! I've just discovered swiss chard and am looking for more recipes. This one is tops! Oh, I used feta rather than blue....it's just what I had in the house.

I really liked this recipe and basically ate it all myself, because nobody else at the picnic would eat it. Oh well, more for me!

Poor Man's Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
We really like this recipe. I followed some advice from previous reviewers. I used a cup of water/a cup of tomato sauce and 2 TBSP of worchestershire for pizazz and I deglazed the pan with it. We cooked the vegies a little first too. Served w/brown rice. Will make again, for sure.

Spinach Dip With Cajun Pita Chips

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
I think this is delicious. I made as is, but think I was a little short on sour cream, so I dropped about 1/4 cup of real mayo in. Everything's better w/mayo in my opinion. I'm serving w/cubed up beer bread. I would have given 5 stars, but think the mayo made the difference.

Chicken Broccoli Ca - Unieng's Style

Reviewed: May 8, 2010
LOVE it! I doubled everything but the onions, pepper and chicken and broccoli so that it would make more sauce and served on japanese noodles. This will be a staple in my house.

Blueberry, Banana, and Peanut Butter Smoothie

I really like this smoothie. I change up the fruit all the time and I feel really good about the balance of carb/fat/protein. Good start to the day.

Easy Peach Crisp I

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
OK, so I don't know why you would even add sugar to a cake mix....so I didn't. It will be a standard topping on my fruit cobblers....this is pretty much a cobbler. Easy to remember .... 1 box yellow cake mix and cut in one stick of butter. Sprinkle on top....wonderful I would give this a five star, but I really didn't follow the recipe. I even used fresh (jacked up) peaches!

Fabulous for left overs! I substituted thyme for the dill. Delicious as I'm sure the dill would be!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2008
Maybe I screwed up by using 1 stick of margarine, but I do not care for these cookies...They are flat. The dough was wet, I should have added more flour, but thought that 3 cups was a huge amount already. I would give this 1 star, but don't want to bring it down. By the looks of the reviews, I'm the only one who didn't care for the recipe.

Just delicious. I used ground chicken and canned whole tomatoes because that's what I had onhand. I don't think I'd change a thing.

Fantastic for the pears I had that were over ripe. Did it in a tart pan which was really pretty. Sold it at the coffee shop that I manage. Ate a couple pieces for breakfast myself!

Spicy Peach-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2004
This is a rockin' recipe!! My fiance and I have it probably once every couple of weeks. I make mock mashed potatoes(cauliflower) and use the sauce for a gravy. I tell everyone about it. So easy...I now keep peach preserves in the fridge at all times.

Simple Pork Rib Dry Rub

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2004
This was a fantastic version of the country style ribs!! I had no cayenne pepper so I substituted Pampered Chef Cajun Seasoning. It was pretty spicy at first however after a few bites the flavor was great. I baked them in the oven and they were sooooo juicy.
