Chicken Fiesta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2004
I really liked this salad. The only thing that I added was to throw in some celantro into the corn/bean dressing, just because I enjoy the flavor. I will be making again.

Pat's Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: May 16, 2005
I grilled some onions along with the mushrooms. It was a perfect accompaniment to our grilled steaks.

Slow Cooker Barbeque

Reviewed: May 1, 2005
This turned out perfect. The only change I made was to use a pork roast versus beef. The next time I make I will try it with the beef. This would even work with chicken

A Simply Perfect Roast Turkey

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2005
I decided to make the extra turkey I had left over from Christmas and used this recipe. When I was ready to put in the oven, I realized that I did not have any Turkey stock, but I did have chicken stock on hand. Well, I used that instead and it still turned out great. The turkey was tender and juicy. I will definetly use this recipe again when preparing turkey, except I will make sure I have turkey stock on hand.

Cucumber Sandwiches II

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2005
I love cucumbers. I used wheat bread and just made regular size sandwiches with this recipe. Turned out great. Will continue to use the cream cheese blend in all my veggie sandwiches.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2004
My family loved this. I took other reviewers suggestions and used beef broth instead of water. I also thickened the gravy with a little cornstarch once roast was done. Next time I make this I will throw in some veggies to make into a one-pot meal.

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2004
This was very good. I used vegetable oil instead of the peanut, since that is all that I had on hand, worked fine. I marinated the salmon for six hours and then baked covered with the marinade in oven as suggested by another reviewer. The flavor was perfect.

French Pastry Pie Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2004
I used this pie crust in a Lemon Meringue Pie and it was perfect. I did cut back on the salt as others suggested. Since the recipe makes enough for two crusts, I used one and froze the rest.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2007
I decided to try this recipe since I had all the ingredients on hand. Wow was I surprised at how well it tasted. I didn't change much, but I did reduce the amount of beer, added some chicken stock, and when I added chicken back in for last two hours, I added some red bell pepper and sliced jalapeno peppers. My husband took the leftovers to work and just called to tell me how good the soup tasted.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
This recipe was great for a weeknight side dish. I had two potatoes that I had planned to bake, but then saw this recipe, so I changed my mind. I was glad I did. My husband loved them and asked me to make them again.

Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

I have been making green bean casserole like this for years. It is requested for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner every year. The only difference in this recipe from mine, is that I use pepperjack cheese for a little kick.

Picnic Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2004
Wow! This chicken turned out perfect. I have tried to make fried chicken before without any real success. This recipe was easy and everyone ate it up. I did change one thing though, I used buttermilk instead of the regular. I also added Paprika as someone else suggested. I will be making this again and again.

Fudge Brownies I

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2004
I only had a 9x9 pan, so I just baked them a little longer than the time stated, since it meant they would be thicker. They were still chewy and good. My family said they were perfect. This is my new go to recipe for brownies.

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
This is the easiest way to prepare BB Ribs. My family really, really loved these. The best part for me was the easy clean up. Added comment: It had been some time since I made these, so when I saw that ribs were on sale, I immediately remembered this recipe. Forgot how good and easy these are to make. Family ate them up
