Pralines, Coffee and Cream Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
This cake is a hit every time I make it. The "cream" concoction makes the cake very moist and rich. I sometimes substitute the cool whip with whipped cream and that works well too.

Beat and Bake Orange Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
I used lemon instead of orange, and the cake turned out very well. I made this for a friend who loves lemon desserts and she loved it! Even I liked it, and I usually stick to chocolate.

Truly Coconutty Cream Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I made this pie for a potluck dinner. Even though I did not make the crust (used a pre-made frozen one), the result was a fluffy, coconutty, decadent pie. Loved it! Using a frozen crust made the whole process and clean up a lot easier and faster.

McCormick® Gingerbread Men Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I made these last week. After baking for just 8 minutes, they were soft and chewy. The amount of spice was just right for my taste. My husband also thought they were delicious!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
This is my favourite chocolate cake recipe. Every now and then I decide to try something new, but always come back to this one. Last time I tried a different "5 star" chocolate cake (made from scratch, so a bit more time consuming) I was disappointed because it just did not compare to this one. If you follow this recipe, you will have a fantastic chocolate cake!

Mocha Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
Very rich and so delicious! Spreads well and looks great on cakes or cupcakes. Can be used on white, yellow or chocolate flavoured cakes. I've used this frosting many times and it continues to be one of my favourites.

Lemon Chewy Crisps

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2011
Fantastic! I doubled the recipe and added toasted shredded coconut (just because I had some that I wanted to use, and thought coconut and lemon are a good combination). I did not use almonds, but topped the cookies with sugar instead. I got very good results!

Black Bean Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2011
WOW! Amazing! I did add one teaspoon of baking powder, to ensure the brownies would rise. Also, I used a food processor to ensure the beans were really "mashed". These were dense brownies, which I prefer to "cakey" brownies. We could not taste the beans at all. Just chocolaty goodness!
