These rolls are awesome! When I first saw the recipe I thought it would take too long but they went quickly and were so easy. I will make these many times.

Comforting Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2004
This was very good and very easy! The meat wasn't amazingly tender but the flavor was fantastic. I didn't use the cajun spice only the pepper. I bought the store brand of lemon-lime soda and it was wonderful. Be sure to only use 12 ounces. I served this over mashed potatoes. Next time I'll try it with pork chops.

Boston Cream Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2004
As suggested I made the pudding with just one cup of milk and refrigerated it while the cake was baking. I refrigerated the cake too just to be safe. It was great! I didn't have any trouble icing it or keeping it together. Easy!

My husband and I loved this! So easy and smelled great cooking in the crockpot. I couldn't find BBQ beans so just added barbeque sauce to regular baked beans. Will definitely make again.

This was very tasty. My kids liked it a lot. I cut the recipe in half but still used 4 cups of water. I might cook this in the crockpot next time.

Easy Corn Chowder II

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2004
Very Very Good! This was my first time to make corn chowder. I used this recipe as a guide and took some hints from other recipes and reviews. I used 2 cans of potatoes and doubled the corns. I also threw in a cup of chopped, cooked chicken. I also sauted the onion and celery in butter then added it to my saucepot. It really heated up quickly.

Fantastic! My kids and I loved this! Will definitely make again. I didn't have allspice so I used nutmeg. Also increased the milk to 2 cups. What a great texture and flavor. Thank you Ruth!

Beer Bread I

I don't like beer but I loved this bread! I used Michelob and increased the sugar to 1/3 cup. This is so simple for such a moist and delicious bread. Made it twice in the first week.

Spicy Rice

This was not so great. Too hot for me. Not a lot of flavor either. Be sure to wear gloves when you handle the habaneros. My fingers burned for three days.

Spicy Chile Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2004
This tasted good but was very mushy. Maybe I didn't cook my rue long enough. We ended up putting it in tortillas and eating it like a burrito.

Asparagus Medallions

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2004
My teenagers actually liked this! I didn't tell them about the asparagus. The meat was so tender and full of flavor. I might try it with sometime with mushroom soup which was mentioned or cream of chicken. A great easy way to prepare pork.

This was popular at my house. It looked a little dry when I was mixing it all together so I added 1/2 cup of jar spaghetti sauce.

Beef and Biscuit

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2004
Very good. I made this pretty much as directed except I used a 4oz. can of chopped green chiles and substituted cumin and red pepper because I didn't have chili powder. I didn't have a problem with the biscuits being doughy. They were perfect after 28 minutes.
