Gerry's Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2004
I LOVED this. The only thing I changed was instead of 12 chili's, I bought one of those tiny cans of green chili's. (I also blended all the tomato stuff in a blender since my family won't eat chunks!) But my son and I loved it.. great flavor. He added tortilla chips to his. Thanks!

Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: May 19, 2004
The flavor is great but I screwed up (being the novice that I am) and used frozen berries. It was more of a soup-pie!! So don't do that! I will definately use fresh next try!!

American Lasagna

I think it could use a bit more flavor..maybe more garlic and oregano but otherwise, everyone loved it! (Not for the 'quick and easy meal' crowd!)

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2004
LOVED IT!! The only thing I did outside of the recipe was add more spinach. This is a great recipe! 2nd time I made it, I added 1/2 cup salsa and used pepperjack on top! YUM!!

Delicious Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2004
This is my every-year recipe now. Since I started making it, I've changed over to whole wheat flour, only 2 cups of sugar, I add flax seed and wheat germ. I buy the small baking pumpkins, cut them, bake them til soft on low heat then put the pumpkin pulp in processor. I get about 4.5 cups of pumpkin from ONE small baking pumpkin and it's fresh :) Worth the effort!!

I had some banana's that I was either going to throw out, or use. This recipe was perfect and came out great. I followed the directions exactly and added about a tsp of cinnamon. Perfecto! Thanks!!

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2005
I made this last week and my family wants it again tonite. I've been looking for a good lasagna recipe and this is the one! Only changes I made: I used 1/2 and onion instead of whole and I added a tsp of Basil to the sauce. Thanks for sharing - we love it!

Maybe I did something wrong but mine came out VERY DRY, BUT the flavor is very good. Maybe I should have added more butter??

Newport Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2006
I've had this recipe saved for a year and FINALLY made it. It's Yummy! Just a hint, if you can't find a QUART of clams (as I couldn't), 2-10oz cans of baby clams did the trick just fine. I added some water at the end because it IS a bit thicker than I prefer and I forgot the dill so I used a bit of basil. Next time, all I'd change is to maybe substitue some of the 1/2 and 1/2 with milk. Thanks for sharing!!

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2006
This wasn't really so great. Too bland for me and my son says it had too much Ricotta. I'd add more sauce, less ricotta and some spices if I were to make it again. Thanks for sharing though!!

Steak Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
JUST like I had in Scotland! I followed recipe completely (used boneless beef ribs instead of stew meat because it's better meat ~ but essentially the same!) and added a dash of garlic. Made the house smell homey and cozy while cooking and warmed us right up. BUT I will double the recipe next time to feed 4. YUM! THANKS!

Raspberry Oat Bars

The hubby loves them but says to use less butter next time. They're VERY crumbly though.. can't make the bars that'd be handy. However, they're tasty.
