Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2013
Very Good! Easy to cut, had a nice crust, and good flavor. Honestly I was worried about the garlic being very overpowering but that wasn't the case at all.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2013
I'm rating this a 5 because I was told it was great as is, but I caution you it has a strong chocolate flavor. However in the future I will be using milk chocolate chips instead of semisweet. You also have to take it straight from the stove and pour over your cake or it will start to harden and become what others have described as lumpy.

Amish White Bread

We love this recipe. We make it all the time. It usually takes mine a lot longer than 30 minutes to rise the second time around so I usually make this in the morning to use for supper at night.

David's Yellow Cake

I've made it twice. Both times it turned out perfect. It's dense, kinda heavy, and has a good flavor.

Perfect! Good consistency, great kinda milk chocolate flavor. More than plenty for a 9 inch layer cake.

Snow Ice Cream II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2014
This is the classic snow cream I grew up with! Tip: Mix your milk, vanilla, and sugar in a separate container very well before adding it to the snow. This helps cut down on the gritty sugar and incorporates the flavors better. You can also use chocolate or strawberry milk instead of the white milk. Oh and don't forget the sprinkles!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
It's pretty decent. Definitely add more seasoning, use two cans of broth, and maybe cut back a bit on the biscuits, put the biscuits in 90 minutes before the end, add mixed veggies if you want. Oh and cut your biscuits with a pizza cutter it's easier.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2014
I used cream of chicken soup but otherwise tried to stick to the recipe. I had to add more seasoning and I thought there was way more bread crumbs than actually needed. Overall I liked the flavor even though I didn't care for all the dirty dishes. My husband thought it was okay but not great. Even though it was pretty decent, I don't think I'll be making this again.

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
Maybe not a family favorite but pretty good. We don't put in the raisins or walnuts. My tips: use a bundt pan, cut the biscuits with a pizza cutter, cover with foil for about 20 minutes to avoid the top getting that slightly harder type crust, and carefully flip it out into a large bowl while it is still hot.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
Very Good! My tips: use two cans of soup, finely dice your onions (I use about 1/4 of a yellow onion) and saute to soften them first(especially if you don't like onion), omit the topping, use 2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper and cook for about an hour to hour and a half uncovered.

Oven Scrambled Eggs

I usually cook this for about 45 minutes, stirring half way through. Even the picky people who don't usually like oven cooked eggs liked these.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

not bad. I used bread crumbs instead of saltines and added 1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce. I prefer to add the (very sweet) sauce 1/2 way through the baking.

Thicker than Hidden Valley out of a bottle. You can really taste the dill weed and can certainly tell it is mayo based. Overall I really like it and will certainly make it again!
