Baked French Toast

I followed the recipe exactly and what a disappointment! What I wanted was a crisp but not hard exterior (kind of like a grilled cheese sandwich). What I got was a soggy mess. What I wanted was a cinnamon sugar flavor. What I got was hardly any flavor but plain egg. I put a few pieces in a skillet to try and boil out the wet and create a crust but it didn't work,I agree with another reviewer that said, you should not have to read the reviews to fix a recipe!

Mini Meatloaves

I followed the recipe exactly except I ended up with 6 loaves instead of 8. It was easy to mix together and the loaves held together well. The flavor was why I only gave 3 stars. I found the sauce on top to be a bit too sweet and the hamburger seemed a bit bland.

Super Sausage Gravy

I thought it had way to much sausage and not enough gravy. I also had trouble getting it to thicken up but it did after letting it sit off the burner for a few minutes. Overall I thought it was pretty good though!

Amish White Bread

I've made this recipe 3 times in the past week. The first time I made the two loaves, the second two times I halved the recipe. My husband can't get enough of it and I find it pretty easy to make.

I got 7 biscuits from this recipe instead of the stated 6. I also found the biscuit to be very dense and not the least bit fluffy. I also thought they needed more salt. Overall I will not be making these again.

It was okay! I used 4 tbsp of butter instead of 2 in the crust but it really needs more flavor in the crust. Overall it was okay but I'll keep searching for a better recipe.

Garlic Chicken

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

I'm rating this a 5 because I was told it was great as is, but I caution you it has a strong chocolate flavor. However in the future I will be using milk chocolate chips instead of semisweet. You also have to take it straight from the stove and pour over your cake or it will start to harden and become what others have described as lumpy.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

I'm rating this as 3/5 stars because I have no idea if I did something wrong or if it was the recipe. Basically the filling was sloppy, the alcohol overwhelming, The frosting so so. Now I'm left with an expensive bottle of coffee liqueur and an extra thing of mascarpone cheese and it is all worthless.

The Best Lemon Bars

I made this recipe for a party and got mixed reviews on it. There were a few people that found the lemon flavor to be too strong and in fact they make me pucker a bit. Some people thought the bottom was too thick and in a 9x13 inch rectangular dish the bottom ends up being about half of the bar. Overall I thought they were pretty decent. My only suggestion that I wish someone had told me is to cut your bars and then sprinkle your powdered sugar on them, it makes for a much prettier appearance.
