When I gave birth to my daughter 12 years ago, a neighbor of ours brought us a complete dinner, and the dessert was a delicious blueberry cobbler. I remember asking her for the recipe, and I recall her saying "it's just a cup - a cup - a cup, very simple". She never did give me the recipe, but now I realize that this is it (except that she used 1 cup of suger-flour-milk-berries). I did make the recipe exactly as written, but in hind-sight, I think I would do as my neighbor did and use 1 cup of the sugar, flour, milk AND berries. While the recipe was still delicious as written, there were too many berries to cake/ratio for my liking. I can't believe how quick and easy this recipe is though. No kidding, it took me about 5 minutes to get this into the pan and into the oven. I used cinnamon/sugar on the top and added 1 tsp of vanilla as well. I will be making this one again, experimenting with other fruits. Thanks so much! I finally have the "a cup - a cup - a cup" recipe!
