Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2007
Loved this recipe! I added a little soy sauce, wostershire and white wine for extra flavor and made turkey meatballs to add in addition to the mushrooms. I will definitely make this again.

Caribbean-Spiced Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
I'm just getting into roasting chickens and this was the second recipe I tried. I thought it was excellent. I used lemon instead of lime and didn't have clove so I left it out. Also, I used chicken leg quarters because it was what I had on hand. I also drained the fat drippings from the pan and made a sauce from what remained. It was a delicious meal. LOVED the cinnamin!

Butter Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2006
This was my first time making roast chicken and it turned out great. I bought chicken leg quarters and served this at a dinner party. I added lemon zest to give it a more lemony flavor which was nice. Everyone thought it was delicious. I think I might use less butter next time but overall this was a hit.

I made this last night and thought it was very good. I added lemon zest and some lemon juice and a little more cheese than called for. Thanks for the recipe!

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2006
Thanks for the great idea. I, too used it as a base recipe and added some things to my liking. I added half a bottle of light beer, a cup of chicken stock, a few tablespoons of sugar, 1/4 cup chopped cilantro, a few tablespoons of lime juice and some cumin. It was great.

Chicken Tetrazzini for a Crowd

This was simple to make and very flavorfull. I used marinated and grilled chicken breast instead of boiled and added some cayenne and hot pepper sauce to spice it up a bit. Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Chile Spaghetti

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2006
I made this last night and it was really good. I used chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken and left out the celery. My husband and I liked it but it's something you can't eat all that often due to the fat content.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2006
Wow, this was good! The changes I made to suit my likings were that I used ground chicken, mushrooms, onions, cajun seasoning, italian seasoning and more noodles then called for. It was delicous. I'm going keep this in my regular rotation!

Avocado Dip II

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2006
This recipe was very good but a little too salsa-like. Next time I make this I'm going to use less sals and more avocado.

Chicken Enchilada Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2006
This was pretty good although it seemed like the mayo flavor overpowered it a bit. I may try again and adjust the ingredients.

Cinnamon Glazed Walnuts

Since I found this recipe, I've made it for every party we have. My guests love it. I've also tried it with pecans which is just as tasty. Yum!

Cream Cheese Penguins

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2006
These were too much work for a not so tasty appetizer. As cute as they were, the combination of cream cheese, olives and carrots just didn't taste very good.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2006
I only made this recipe because it received so many great reviews. The combination sounded a little unappetizing to me but I have to say I was intriqued by all of the 5 stars. Much to my surprise, this was delicious and will soon become a staple in my home. Thanks for the great recipe!

Asian Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2006
I made this last week and substituted lettuce for cabbage because I don't care for it. It was good but I thought it lacked a little something. I might try again with some small adjustments.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
Loved this pizza. I doubled the recipe because it sounded so good and only changed it slightly by adding hot sauce to the ranch dressing. My husband and I gladly ate this for dinner two nights in a row plus snacked on it the day after.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Very good dish. I skipped the garlic because I don't like it and added about 1/2 cup of basil and some grated parmesian at the end. It was very flavorful and quite easy to make.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
Yum! I made this last night and substituted ground turkey for beef because I don't eat red meat. It was delicious and made enough for my husband and I to have again tonight(and probably tomorrow, too!). Since the pasta was finished before the sauce was done simmering, I added the sour cream to the ziti so they wouldn't dry out. Will make again soon!
