About this Cook
I am a Canadian who loves the seasons and I am the mother of two teenage boys and a female dog!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I love to make cakes, cookies and breads. I make a decent Christmas fruitcake too!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Homemade Italian sauce with meat.
My cooking triumphs
I once made a Trinidadian wedding cake for a lady at a gym where i workout and that was an experience!
My cooking tragedies
I once made a custard pie and mistakenly took the salt for sugar! My poor step-father was such a gentleman. Rather than spit the piece out, he swallowed it and then asked if perhaps i made an error with an ingredient!!

Carolina Delights
Great tasting cookie and i like how quick it is to make. My kids wouldn't go near them though; said they looked like cow pucks. They don't know what they're talking about. Next time i will add whole salted or unsalted peanuts to the cookie. Yum xxx Crunch xxx

Chocolate Chip Cookies I
the kids loved it and hubby loved them (he doesn't need to be eating them)! Only downfall to this recipe is that they are addictive.

Apple Walnut Cake
what a complete mess. i should have suspected from the directions that it didn't make sense to put all the sugar with the apples. needed some of the sugar to beat with the eggs and oil. a complete flop, the cake is caved in all around the bundt pan and what a waste of ingredients.
