Scrumptious Frosted Fudgy Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2009
We loved these! I did use margarine instead of butter since that's what I had on hand. Also, I used heavy whipping cream instead of heavy cream (I'm not sure if there's a difference between those two). These will be my regular brownie recipe from now on- thank you so much, Celeste!

These were okay. With all the reviews I was expecting something truly spectacular. I thought they were just all right.

Mint Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
Wow! This was great! I doubled the mint and it definitely wasn't too overpowering. I also appreciated the tip of freezing the cake before each layer. I froze it for about an hour each time. I couldn't imagine the mess that it would have made otherwise!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2008
I too did the drizzle after the cookies cooled, not before baking them. These are very good! I doubled the recipe as well.

Grocery Store Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
I swear, just give me this and I don't need cookies or a cake! We loved it! I did half it to frost a 9 by 13 inch cake and had a bit left over to put in between some chocolate chip cookies. I added just a bit of almond extract too. Perfect!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
I couldn't seem to get these coated very well! I'd love to know how many times they were coated to get the picture that is on here! The flavor is very good though. I used a chocolate cake mix and french vanilla frosting. I won't give up and plan to try again!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
I'm not a big fan of pumpkin but I decided to make these for my son who loves pumpkin pie. First of all, I used more than a cup of pumpkin- I used the whole can (because what am I going to do with the rest of it?). Then I just added another egg and about 1 1/2 the amount of everything else. The result? A lot of really good cookies! They were cake-like and soft and not overpowering on the pumpkin- definitely a keeper!

I took this to the teacher's lounge for a birthday and it got great compliments! It's a really nice change instead of a cake!

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2007
This was my first time doing prime rib and I was nervous! I had just a 4 pound one so I scaled it down. I put it in at 500 degrees for about 10 minutes and then turned it down. It took about an hour and 10 minutes to reach 150 degrees and it was just perfect inside! Wow!

Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
This was a big hit with my kids and hubby's coworkers! I'm not sure how many candy canes I used. It's a great way to use up your broken ones! I didn't add the food coloring either. Thanks!

The flavor is really good on these, but we would have liked more of the peanut butter mixture. Next time I will double that part.

I followed the recipe exactly yet it was not creamy. The flavor was okay but we all wanted more sauce! I'll keep looking!

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
This is terrific! I love the fact that you make the "mix" ahead of time and then just thaw it until it's slushy. I did cut down the sugar, to about 1 1/4 cups and got many compliments! I'd be interested in trying it with some different Jello flavors as well!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
This is an easy and delicious treat! I used regular brown sugar and no nuts.. I also sprayed foil and curled up the edges (so nothing would spill over) before I put the crackers on it. I also just put the pan back in the oven for a minute once I poured the chocolate chips over it, so then you can spread it right away. Really good! :)
