Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2014
I made this cake without any changes. I put it into two 8X8 pans. One went in the freezer and one on the counter. Both were incredible! This cake is delicious. And the frosting is yummy and perfect for it, however, the cake is so good plain, I didn't use the frosting after I made it. It just didn't need it.

Japanese Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2012
The flavor was great. But it was very saucy as written. Next time I will make 1/3 the sauce. I marinated the beef for 8 hours in soy sauce, lemon juice and garlic. I also froze the beef for an hour before cutting in to make it easier to slice thin.

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
All I had was a can of pineapple chunks. I blended that in the food processor with the soy sauce and sugar and used that as the marinade. Marinaded for two hours. Chicken was delicious and very tender.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Loved it. I made half a recipe and I'm sorry I didn't make the whole thing. We were scraping the bowl to get every last drop.

Dairy Free Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
This came together so quickly. I used 1/3 cup sugar and I am glad I did. It still isn't sweet enough for the kids, but, I think it is great.

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2007
Great. I like mine a bit softer, so, I up the cooking time to 2 - 3 hours. The dry spice rub is great. I use the butter knife/paper towel method to get the membrane off in a snap. Thanks for the recipe and tips.

Pork Chop and Feta Skillet

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
Just made this for dinner. It was great. My husband claimed it was the best pork chops he ever had. I only had 1/2 cup lemon juice on hand, but, it was enough to dip in. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly. Yum...

Apple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
Great! Just had this warm from the oven for dessert. I added 2 tbsp of flour to the sugar and cinnamon and tossed it with the apples before putting them in the pie shell. It was not runny at all. I will make this again.

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2005
I like to bake cookies because I am not a fan, hence, I don't eat them. But, this recipe intrigued me. I made it, I tasted, and I ate 4 cookies in about 4 minutes! These are awesome. They are soft and chewy and really good. I used vanilla pudding and made the recipe as is - with no nuts. Wow. I am keeping this one!

Everything Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2004
These cookies were amazing. I substituted Cocoa Pebbles for the crisp rice because that was all I had in the house. I also used regular Oatmeal - not quick cook. I will be making these over and over!
