Taco Dip I

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2004
A real crowd pleaser! I leave out the pepper and olive as no one is a big fan of them and the dip is still delicious. I've tried to make this in advance and store in the refrigerator to save time and it didn't work that well. It turned a bit watery. I just took a paper towel and soaked up some of the water that was sitting around the edge. I've learned my lesson and prepare this upon time of consumption now.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Fool proof! These are wonderful to take to a party, guaranteed no leftovers! The fruit filling is still great even added on hours before and kept in the refrigerator until serving time.

Haddock Bubbly Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2004
I'm not a huge fish fan, but wanting to change up our meals I searched for an easy fish recipe and found this. It's amazing what you can do with canned soup! The fish was so moist and so tender. Very delicious! I've also made this with cream of cheddar cheese soup and left out the grated cheese on top.

Applesauce Cookies II

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2004
I was excited when I found this recipe because I had a jar of applesauce that I wanted to use up. I was not impressed with this recipe at all. When I was mixing the dough it was WAY too sticky. I added another full cup of flour and it was still too sticky. I was tired of mixing so I just spooned it out and baked it as it was. Like the previous reviewer, I too found that these cookies weren't baking up well. I removed them from the oven before the burning point and they were still doughy in the middle. A big disappointment.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2004
This recipe is absolutely amazing! So quick, so easy, so good! This recipe was the only one I've ever tried for making homemade alfredo sauce and I hit the jackpot with it. My father actually calls me up and asks me to make it and take it to him! I've made it with fresh garlic and garlic powder and it's come out just as good with either. Also fresh parmesan cheese in the block form is a rariety in this area, so I have always used the canned stuff and it has always come out perfect. No grainy texture, just a wonderful smooth sauce.
