Potato Dumplings II
Oh my goodness, these were almost a complete disaster! The mixture was just so sticky - I spent hours kneading them and adding more and more flour in an effort to get them pliable enough to form ball shapes. You can imagine after all that flour and kneading how tough they were. Maybe I did something wrong, I had never made dumplings before so I didn't know how to tweak the recipe.

Pepperoni Burgers
This was like all burger recipes really easy, so I loved that! Usually though my family doesn't really like them for various reasons - too dry, too bland etc, but there were no complaints from this recipe. I used some leftover rice instead of the breadcrumbs because I didn't have any, but the most important part is to get the best peperoni you can as that's where the flavour and the extra moistness comes from. All in all, quick, versatile and tasty - a keeper!

Portofino Lamb and Artichoke Risotto
This was OK but quite bland so I added some hot english mustard to the pot and that gave it a bit of a kick. Any leftovers that you can serve to unexpected guests without being embarrassed and can be put together with cans in the pantry gets my vote.
