Strawberry Vanilla Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2013
My daughter does not like chunks of fruit in her food, so we liquified the strawberries in a blender. I gave it four stars because we had to tweak a lot of things-we added more sugar, had to slowly add the vanilla (2 Tablespoons seemed like too much-we added 2.5 teaspoons). We will make this again!

German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2013
My twins and I made this, halving the recipe and baking it in a 9x9 stoneware pan. It rocked! We had no buttermilk so we used regular milk. It is now a regular part of our breakfast for dinner menu!

Tastes great and easy to make! I just put all of the ingredients at one time and stir on a low/medium flame and I have no lumps. Beats a box mix!

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
Easy to make, delicious to eat. My 8.5 year old twins helped me make this and we used the other pie crsut to cut out shapes like in one of the pictures. Made homemade whipped cream to top it off. YUM! Going to try it with blueberries next.

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
We did a twist on this. We did not have crescent rolls, but had biscuits. My son rolled out the biscuits and then we put in the apple and rolled it up to seal. No soda in the house, so we skipped that step and halved the butter/sugar/cinnamon. Pour it over the top and baked about 17-20 minutes. YUM!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
We made this today and it was fabulous! My eight year old son wanted to make mini pizzas like they sell in Trader Joe's. He used cookie cutters and made a lot of mini pizzas in assorted shapes. His twin sister used the other half of the dough to make her own pizza. This one has gone into my Recipe Box and will be a regular one in my house! Great rainy day activity for kids because it is quick. Keep yeast on hand for this one!

Fresh Salsa

I loved it! My kids need it a bit thicker so next time I will add ketchup, so it is thicker like the store bought stuff. I used fresh cilantro and it was amazing!

Tastes great! The dough was a little sticky, so I added some more flour when rolling. My kids and everyone else who ate them loved them!

One Egg Lemon Pound Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
My 6.5 year old twins would give it more stars if they could (100 was one amount they said!). Easy to make! We did not have lemon, so we omitted it. We also used a bundt pan, so it cooked for 45 minutes. We made Vanilla Glaze to top it. YUMMY! Will make again and again!

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
My family LOVED this! This is a great base recipe. After reading the reviews, I changed some things. First, I put the salmon and a medium onion and put them in the food processor. I kept some of the liquid and needed only one egg. I used organic torilla crumbs, salt, and pepper. Then we cooked it on our George Foreman Grill. This will be a regular on our dinner table!
