Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2004
I get so many requests for this cookie. They're incredibly simple to make and taste fantastic!! Great for the peanut-butter fanatics in the family! I prefer to keep them in the freezer and reach in whenever I have a craving.

Tuna Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
Oh wow, these are yummy! I did as other people suggested and added two cans of tuna instead of one. Very quick and easy! I've also decided to test its freezing capabilities by freezing two uncooked patties and two cooked patties. I'll let you know how everything turns out! **EDIT: I froze both cooked and uncooked patties and they both froze very well. I prefer freezing them cooked 'cause I just popped 'em in the microwave and they were ready to go when I was pressed for time!

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
Easy-peasy recipe! Great to make for a quick, last minute gift. I also took the advice of others and stacked the pretzel, rolo and pecan BEFORE popping these little beauties in the oven. The flat rolo is the perfect little 'podium' for holding things. (M&M's, peanuts or any other yummy little treats!) Squish down with a spoon once melted and throw them in the fridge or freezer to set. Easy for the beginner and the perfect treat for the pickiest little tummies! Thumbs up, ten stars, sheer perfection!

Chocolate Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
So simple and yummy! The only complaint I have could be a direct result of my impatience. I cooked 'em up, popped them in the fridge until they cooled, and tested them on my fiancé. I found that even though the dark chocolate kisses had cooled, they were still mushy. I'd love to put these in tins or jars to give as gifts, but I don't see how that's possible if the chocolate stays soft. Does the chocolate harden if left in the fridge (or freezer) overnight? **UPDATE!** New year, new discoveries! I pile everything together before putting them in the oven, then as other suggested I push the whole thing down with a spoon. And I actually prefer making these with Rolo chocolates and pecans and if you freeze them, you can pack them in a tin easily. The set really well. Just don't forget to defrost!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
Oh gawsh, I can officially die happy! This recipe is fantastic! I took some of the advice I'd found in other reviews and my cookies turned out P-E-R-F-E-C-T! I put the batter in the fridge for a bit before scooping onto cookie sheets and I cut the chocolate chips, but added a few extra on each cookie after scooping onto sheets.

Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
Now these are some yummy cookies! I compiled advice from some of the other reviews and my cookies turned out pretty darn fantastic! Here's what I suggest. Add an extra 1/2 cup of peanut butter, add a bit more flour (1/2 cup-ish, they're less sticky that way) and roll the cookie balls in a bit of sugar before smooshing with fork. I added a chocolate chip to the center of each for some flair!! I will write this one down in the old recipe book. It's a keeper!!!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
Wow, what a yummy & easy treat! I actually had all the ingredients on-hand (which NEVER happens!) I added cinnamon as other reviewers suggested and used rasberry 'Double fruit Reduced sugar' jam. I even added some chocolate chips on half of the pan of to see what it would taste like. Both sides were delicious!! Plan on making more today with blueberry jam. I would like to make this recipe even MORE healthy, but am not good at straying from the recipe. I fear disaster without exact mesurements!

Cookie in a Jar

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2005
OH YUM! I sorta took a chance in making these cookies to give as gifts because I didn't actually test them before giving them away (all true bakers are gasping in terror) but truth be told, I'm getting rave reviews from the receivers and my belly is in total agreement. These are simple little cookies that really taste great! Two thumbs up!!

Cornflake Crunch Tenders

Reviewed: May 5, 2004
Oh yum....You know, I was doubtful of these just because I couldn't understand how something that was so easy to whip up, could be good. Low and behold they were fantastic!! I loved that they were pleasantly crunchy and not too spicy, but if you were looking to spice things up a bit, adding your own spices would be easy as pie. Try this recipe, it's a nice change from plain ol' chicken.

Busy Day Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
This was a really simple recipe and it's nice that you can experiment with different BBQ sauces (I also added a bit of chicken broth to keep things moist.) I cooked a whole chicken the first time and eventhough it was delicious, I didn't much enjoy having to take the meat off the bone, soo-o-o I think next time I'll do as many others suggested and cook just the chicken breasts instead. Very yummy and makes great sandwiches the next day!
