The Best Lemon Bars

I made these lemon bars with the zest added to the crust and the eggs/lemon mixture,I also used 3/4c of lemon juice from the lemons as recommended by others and I sprinkled with icing sugar after cooking as well. I found the cooking time far to long,it burnt the bottom of my crust,I also found the lemon mixture not creamy or custard like but gummy in composition.I did enjoy the lemon taste but it was hard to tell if they were truly good due to the burnt bottom. I would recommend cooking the base crust less than 20-25minutes,next time I make them I will add either cream or cream cheese to the egg mixture and cook the base less.I would give this recipe a 2.5/5 stars.
