Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2013
Scrumptious goodness is a small bite. I used quart size zip lock bags (end cut off) for the jam and the frosting.

Quick Pot Sticker Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2013
This is a great and light soup. I followed the directions with two changes. The chopped green onions I put on the bottom of the soup bowls before serving (they float and stay bright green). Insead of salt and pepper, I used soy sauce and pepper. The quality of the pot stickers makes the soup and we used frozen potstickers that had a lot of ginger and spice. Thank you, thank you for a feel good and easy recipe. Better soup than you can get in most Chinese restaurants and so quick and easy. A keeper for sure!

Orzo and Rice

Excellent side dish for chicken or fish. Can use chicken stock or broth (in a box) to save time. I have made this several times and have served it to company. It's a winner and a keeper in our family.

Honey Corn Bread

The very best corn bread and so easy to make! It's moist, sweet and bakes up a nice golden brown color. This is a winner and keeper. Thank you very much!

California Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2006
I have made this recipe for 5 years now and it is great. However, as the picture shows there are carrots (not included in the recipe). No matter, I put in my own for the color contrast to the spinach. Delicious and a keeper. It is more time consuming than the recipe suggests. The meatballs do take time and the rest is easy.

Chicken and Tomato Stew with Arugula and Cannellini

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2005
This is very flavorful. I added a chopped shallot with the garlic, cooked the pasta in bouillon and added a little chicken broth. We ate the whole thing in one night! Excellent, one of our favorite recipes. Thank you!
