About this Cook
I am 23 and just getting myself started on the whole "making a great meal every night" kinda thing. My husband and I are tired of restraunts and fast food. I have already tried a few recipes from this site and loved them!
My favorite things to cook
Bread Chicken Tetrazini Chicken Noodle Soup Sloppy Joes Pork Chops Hamburgers
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking traditions would have to be Thanksgiving. All the women and girls would be in the kitchen cooking and baking while the men were off doing manly things. :)
My cooking triumphs
I have managed to come up with my own banana strawberry bread recipe and I felt so great when it turned out delicious and not burnt!!
My cooking tragedies
I managed to ruin boxed macaroni when I was younger. Yea...not my greatest moment.

Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy
I live this recipe. Unfortunately I didn't have all of the ingredients in hand so I improvised. I used cream of celery and omitted the mushrooms. Using the CoCel was a great substitute for the mushroom soup. I made it with buttermilk mashed potatoes and used the extra sauce as gravy. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles
I follwed the recipe but instead of frozen noodles I just added regular egg noodles about 30 miuntes before it was done. I also added carrots, garlic powder, and chili powder. It came out fantastically! We had extra left over so we packed it up and have it ready for lunches tomorrow! I will definetly be making this again!
