Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Great recipe. I used my own variation. We are vegan and also try to limit processed products. I used egg replacer. For the pudding mix I used 1/3 c soy milk powder, 1 egg replacer, 1/2 c sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 or so tsp of salt. They turned out yummy!

Cucumber Sandwich

Just what I was craving!! I woke up craving raw, crunchy beggies so this fit perfect!! I did not have pepperocini so skipped that. I also used mung bean sprouts as that is what I had on hand. Made it even crunchier. Great sandwich, hands down!! Thanks for sharing!

Vegetarian Moussaka

This was a very good dish. I have never had it before but was looking for a vegan recipe with eggplant. I substituted the egg for egg-replacer and also used nutritional yeast flakes for that cheesy flavor in the white sauce. The kids had multiple helpings. I also added a touch of cayenne and salt to the white sauce and used roasted tomatoes. Will definitely make again! Thanks!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
This was our first time having quinoa. I added 1tsp chili powder along with a can of rotel tomatoes. I also sauteed 2C shredded carrots with the onion and garlic. EXCELLENT!! I also used 1 can black beans like others suggested. I did not put corn as hubby does not like corn mixed in with his food. Will make again!!

I tripled this recipe and only used beef. It is wonderful. It made 4 lasagnas and froze 3 of them. I reheated at 350 for one hour and it was still delicious!! Thanks!

Love this recipe!!! It is tougher to work with than fondant but you actually want to eat these decorations! I will use it now instead of fondant! Easy to make too! I use white candy melts and then after it is set and ready to use just add color and shape, mold, play as much as you want!!

Fish Chowder

This recipe was really nice, simple, and delicious. We used Tilapia b/c that is what I had in the fridge. I also omitted the mushrooms, and only had celery seed. I looked up Old Bay Seasoning and just added what it had listed. My family as a whole enjoyed this recipe and there were no leftovers from 4 of us!!

This was a great, easy recipe. I did not change a thing except added a small cans of mushrooms. Thanks for sharing this one.
