Best Ever Brisket

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2011
This is a great recipe. I made it according to the instructions with no changes. It was juicy and fork tender. Had great taste and tasted even better the next day. I think in the future (and I will be making this often) I'll put the rub on the night before to let it marinade and then take the foil off the last 30 min of cooking. Thanks for a great recipe!

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2012
This recipe is perfect! Only thing I did different was use vegetable stock instead of chicken because I had some I needed to use. It's a keeper for me. Thanks so much for the great recipe.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
This is amazing! I did pound my chicken breast because they were very thick. From other reviewer suggestions, I used a baked ham that didn't have water added and I paired it with mushroom pilaf and asparagus. My family LOVED it. Thanks so much for a great recipe.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2012
This sauce is great! For years I've been looking for a good spaghetti sauce. I didn't make the meatballs but added 2lbs ground chuck instead. For the tomatoes I used 2 28 oz cans of diced tomato with garlic and olive oil because that's what I had in my pantry. Before adding the bay leaf I ran my immersion blender through the sauce to smooth it out because my husband doesn't like tomato chunks. We really noticed how much lighter this was than jarred sauce. It was great without all the added sugar and preservatives. It was delicious! Next time I'll add some chopped green or red pepper and some portabella mushrooms. You could also add shredded carrots and zucchini. If your family doesn't care for added veggies, you could sautee them and puree them in a food processor to hide them. :)

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
This is the best quiche I've ever had! Far better than any restaurant or pre-made. Super easy too. Even my husband who refuses to eat breakfast food said it was delicious and ate 2 slices. I made it exactly as written with no changes. Thanks so much!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
This sauce is amazing! I followed a few other reviewers suggestions and used 1/2 heavy whipping cream and 1/2 milk, a dash of nutmeg and fresh garlic. I also added 1/2 a chopped shallot. I tossed it with some penne pasta and sauteed yellow & red peppers, mushrooms and carrots. Served a grilled chicken breast on top. The whole family left the table groaning because they ate too much. Thanks for the great recipe!

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
This was excellent! My husband and teen ager loved it. I used about 8 ind. frozen chicken breasts and seasoned them pretty heavily with the salt, pepper and garlic. I added some seasoned salt too. For the soups I used; cream of celery, cream of chicken and cheddar. I also tossed in a handful of shredded sharp cheddar. Served over egg noodles tossed with butter, salt and pepper. This is definitely going to be a standard in our house from now on. Thanks for such an affordable, easy and delicious recipe!

Bee Lian's Rich Orange Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
This cake is yummilcious! I love it. My only complaint is that the recipe makes a small cake. *g* I made it in a bundt pan and covered it with a glaze of 1/4 c. butter, 2/3 c. sugar and 1/3 c. OJ, heated on the stove.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
This really is THE best chocolate chip cookie recipe. My husband adores them and he's not big on chip cookies. The second batch I made with chocolate pudding and they were great too. I think the chocolate pudding would be good with peanut butter chips. Thanks for the recipe!

Old-Fashioned Scalloped Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2011
For me, this recipe turned out like thickened cream corn. I followed the recipe exact and then added another cup of crackers. It was still very runny and had no flavor. Not the scalloped corn I was looking for at all but it might just be a different type than what I'm used to.
