Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
I have made this recipe using the exact recipe and it was amazing. I do not like bread pudding, but this one I do. The second time I made it I used some left over Romanian Cozonac bread left over from Easter (anything blessed must be used not thrown away) I used 1 less egg in the recipe and only 1/2 cup of sugar as the bread itself is sweet. WOW. It was amazing! I put a warm maple sauce over top and voila a wonderful dessert. Thanks for a great recipe!. I have posted my picture.

Vanilla Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
The idea of the sauce seemed okay, but as others I had to modify the whole recipe. I used 3/4 cup icing sugar, 2 TBSP of cornstarch, 1 cup of water. After it came to a boil I added the butter and extract (I used maple~personal preference) I tasted it and though it was still lacking something. I added about 1/4 cup of half and half cream to the mixture and that creamed it up and it tasted good. Hard to give more then 1 star when the whole recipe was changed. Sorry.

Easy, Cheesy Zucchini Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
I wasn't crazy about this. It was very watery and bland. The zucchini was hard despite the longercooking time as othrs have suggested. I don't understand why this one got such good reviews. My kids thought is was tasteless. Hubby thought it was okay. Won't make this again. I will stick with my turkey meatballs recipe for ground turkey.

YUMMY, YUM, YUM. Loved it. I used Pecans instead of walnuts (just a person nut preference). Delicious. My kids goobles this down and my quests thought it to be the best freezer dessert ever. Great recipe. Thanks!

English Trifle

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
It was okay. I really like my Grandma's English trifle. Should be custard instead of pudding. Also tasted of too much banana. Looks like most liked this recipe on hear, but it wasn't a winner for me.

Scalloped Cheese Potatoes

My family really liked this recipe. I prefer the scalloped potoes from scratch, but this is a very good alternative.I added some onion , salt and pepper to this recipe for a bit more flavour.

Waffles I

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
I have given this waffle recipe a 5 star rating based on, this is the very first waffle recipe that I have ever made in my waffle maker that has worked out. The only thing I would change as others have noted here are I would increase the sugar to 2 1/2 TBS and the vanilla 1 1/2 time. Make sure you beat the eggs until they are very fluffy. This makes the difference of perfect or not perfect waffles. Also on the advice of anothr waffle review, I waited until the steam stopped pluming on the sides to dictate when the waffles are done. PERFECTION. Thanks for a great recipe.

Absolutely too salty. Tastless, bland meat.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2004
My family loves this recipe. I modified the recipe a bit and used maple syrup instead of honey. I also put on a lot more of the marinade then the recipe calls for. We loved the taste of savory/sweet combo of the mustard and honey(syrup)I servrd it to company and they thought it was great. We just used frozen fillets and it worked out well. Aquick meal to prepare.
