Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
Delicious! I let the dough rise overnight in the fridge. I only cut them into rounds and no hole so I could fill some with raspberry jam. Yum!

Classic Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2006
These were quite good! :) My kids and hubby ate them up! They stuck some to my waffle iron. I haven't ever had to grease it before, but I had to with these. I followed the recipe with leaving the iron open for 30 seconds after putting the dough in and they crisped up fairly nicely. I had raspberries and strawberries to go on top along with some Cool Whip. YUM!

WOW! These are awesome! Thank you for sharing! I added a touch of cayenne to the batter for a little kick. I made these once again and added a 1/2 tsp of pepper to the batter. I also used the batter to fry up some shrimp. YUM!

Chocolate Cappuccino Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2006
Delicious! Since we don't drink, I used 1/2 cup cream mixed with 4 t. instant coffee granules instead of the coffee/alcohol mix in the cheesecake. The topping I used 1 cup cream mixed with a couple of tsp instant coffee and then sweetened to my liking.

Three Berry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2006
I made this pie with the "Best Ever Pie Crust" recipe on this site. It came out wonderfully. I used blackberries instead of raspberries as that is what I had on hand. I also used 1/4 c. cornstarch and some cinnamon. Thank you!

Awesome and easy! Need I say more?! :) I burnt a few peanuts, so next time will add them later and make sure to stir more. I also changed it up and used 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 regular and added 1 t. vanilla. Thank you!

Banana Cream Pie Made Easy

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2006
I didn't use the ice and whipped the cream too much before adding the pudding so I added in the extra cup of cream and it came out wonderfully! I think I will make it this way from now on.

Filipino Lumpia

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2006
Delicious! My daughter helped wrap some and ended up with only 17. My kids loved it! I made a homemade sweet and sour to go with it. I'm going to take some to a church fellowship tomorrow. There are a lot of Philippinos in our church, so we'll see how they like them. :)

Delicious! I didn't put nuts on top as my daughter doesn't like nuts. I also cooked until 295 degrees (hard crack stage). Thank you!

Hershey's Black Forest Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
I used an 8 oz container of cool whip instead of heavy whipping cream. I also didn't do the almond extract or cherries on top, but put extra cool whip on top and then garnished with chocolate syrup drizzled across top and some chocolate shavings. It was delish!

Chicken Pot Pie VIII

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2006
Delicious! Used mushrooms, onions, and potatoes and fried them up with the butter with lid on as someone else suggested. I also only used 2 c. broth and then added 1/2 t. savory. I put it in a 9x9 pan and then topped with a pastry crust (milk, homemade biscuit mix, and butter) on top. YUMMY!
