About this Cook
I have cooked all my life. I did cook for a frat for years. Now being sick with Colitis I am a stay at home mom to my oldest son who is 17 and is planning on going to school for cooking. My oldest is also a great cook and I feel proud to have him as a son. I love it when he calls me and asks for my advice on recipies.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make soup. I like to start in the morning so it makes the whole house smell great all day. I also love to make homemade bread with it. My dad was a great baker he has a recipie for a sweat rye bread that everybody loves (it's not the typical rye bread). I just got the recipie and plan on posting it later but now I need to perfect my making of it. I hope I will do him proud with it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I think it's Christmas eve....We always have prime rib and cheese potatoes. It's a big party and everybody looks forward to the feast.

Just OK ...The tea flavor did not come out much in theese. I did add more butter ...uped it to 1cup. Will make again with more tae leaves to see if it add more flavor or will steam the leaves first to bring out the flavor better and puree them in the food prosessor.

OMG ..I have made this a hundred times and LOVE IT...So does every body else who eats it...if i don't eat it all first...

Cocoa Rub
This is a GREAT rub ... But has way to much cumin in it ...I will cut way back on it with the next batch I make and will up the brown sugar....I use it for my smoker and the food has been great. I gave it 4 stars just cuz of all the cumin...othere wise YUMMY
