German Sweet Chocolate Cake I
I made 3 layers, so adjusted ingredients to 36 instead of 24. Plus, I added 3 more squares of german chocolate with same amount of water. Awesome! This is a very moist cake. Icing took a very, very long time - but worth waiting for. Make sure you allow enough time to get this cake right. It's not the easiest of all cakes -- mainly because of time and number of ingredients, but it looks beautiful and tastes wonderful.

Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding
This is great. I used cheap white bread, lightly toasted; 1/2 brown sugar, 1/2 white; two tablespoons melted butter; and a bit of cinnamon. It was good out of the oven, but to my surprise, much, much better the next day. Did not use water bath to cook, and it cooked fine. It did take longer to cook & I covered after about an hour. I cooked in 8x8 pan -- next time will use 11 x 13 -- it was kind of thick. The middle was a bit mushy. This recipe is a great way to get rid of over-ripe bananas and old or cheap bread. This would go over very well at a pot-luck. I'm taking it to my next one!

Easy Venison Stew
This is wonderful! And the best part -- so easy! I like quick mix. So, I used some frozen stew veggies from Wal-mart ($2/bag-- I used 2 bags). It had the potatoes, onions, carrots, celery already cut and ready to put in the crock pot. I used the golden mushroom soup as called for, but used cream of chicken soup instead of cream mushroom. I used about a half can of chicken broth. I added a little bit of garlic pepper, and my secret ingredient to almost everything -mild taco seasoning! Threw in crock pot in about 2 minutes before work. It was ready before I got home. Put over cornbread first day; corn chips second day. AWESOME!
