I've been making this for yrs as well... rice too dry? secret is good skin drippings from the chicken. Also try adding a sm. container of sourcream or chunk of velveeta below your chicken pieces! Yum!

My hubby gobbled this one up! I used all american cheese and it was very creamy! -also I sprinkled some instant stuffing on top and baked it at 200º for 90 min (shift change from me leaving the house to my hubby getting in) - also used diced cheese franks vs ham and our 4 yr old was so excited to find them in there- thanks for spicing up the ol Mac n Cheese drone on...

i scaled this recipe to 8 servings and used .5 c wheat flour, and 2.5 c bread flour -This made 2 9x12 pizzas since we are thin crust lovers in this house! -For once my hubby didn't complain of a "too doughy" crust and prep time was quick and easy- Thank You!
