This cake was yummy and super moist. We made it for my dad's birthday and we over cooked it a little, but it was unnoticeable and the cake still stayed delicious. Instead of going through all the trouble of doing 8 egg yolks, I put in 4 whole eggs, and instead of the 2 cups cake flour, I did 2 cups regular, all-purpose flour, following another review here. I don't think it makes a difference. We made my grandma's old recipes for fudge frosting: YUM!!! I was looking for a real cake, not a boxed cake, since I HATE boxed cake mixes, and this recipe beats boxed cake any day! My dad started eating it the second he got home and so we took pictures of him with his half-eaten cake. Wish I could make it into cupcakes. I'll try that next time...
