I made this recipe twice this week - once as a practice run and the second time for my bookclub. The type of pasta makes a difference - it was much better the first time when I used the tortillini out of a box. The second time, boxed pasta was not available, so I used the frozen kind. Much tastier the first time. I too doubled the parmesean cheese and used fresh basil - because that is what I had on hand. There are a number of vegetarians in my bookclub so this made a perfect dish for a cold and rainy night. Served with a salad, bread and offered a few Italian Sausages on the side. If I made it again, I would add a few more spices - and definitely only use the boxed pasta (not sure how the fresh packaged pasta would be - maybe even better - but it wasn't available around here). Otherwise, very good. Will make again.
