Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
Easiest to make! My boyfriend begs for this. This recipe makes 2 loaves. You only need to fill the pans up a little under half way. Followed the recipe to a T. I have made this many times and its gone FAST. I like to add dried cranberries-AMAZING!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
I used the red pepper italian by kraft. Everyone who tried this commented on how fresh and tasty it was. When I ran out of chips my boyfriend and I took some lettuce out and made wraps with them. :)Great snack. I only used 1/2 cup of the dressing (maybe a tad bit more). You can add more later if need be but I really dont think its needed and I have made this many times

Graham Cracker Crust I

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
Buttery goodness. My boyfriends favorite pie crust ever. Sometimes I add another 1/4 to the recipe simply to have it thicker. Also, if you think you would rather just go the pre-made route DONT because you can avoid hydrogenated oils this way. Just make sure the graham crackers you choose to get dont have them in it.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
This is incredible! You could even use this as a stir fry sauce. I HIGHLY recommend adding water chestnuts, carrots, and snap peas if you like them. The nuts on the top is not needed in my opinion and if you choose to add chicken it is great but also not needed. This is a high protein dish because of the p-butter. Also, if you want to make this fresh get the all natural p-butter without hydrogenated oils- then it's diet friendly. In fact, I ate it after a workout. To anyone who doesnt like this recipe...you must not like what is listed to put in it because its everything you could want if you like the ingredients. I used left over angelhair pasta that didnt get used from speg. night. Easy and quick. If you like spicy adding the sauce is a must. However the sauce is great without it. My boyfriend put sriacha on the side and would add it in. He is a big spicy fan but really liked the sauce as is but decided he loved it spicy too. EXCELLENT dish.

Chocolate Raspberry Dessert

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
This is seriously amazing. You need to let this freeze! I did exactly what the recipe suggests however I also added dried cranberries and a few mini chocolate chips, just because I had some. My boyfriends mother loves cold/frozen desserts and has been looking for something fat/sugar free. This has all of the flavor without all of the worry. I used an all natural rasp. jam (without any added sugar just fruit and natural juices) and fat free cottage cheese. I am going to try other flavors of pudding too. My boyfriend wants me to make a peach and vanilla. I work out a lot and try to eat as healthy as possible and this makes me feel like I get to eat whatever I want.
