We really liked this but it is especially good with warm marble rye bread.

Homemade Cereal

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
This is far better than store bought cereal. I followed the recipe exactly the first time I made it but the second time I used less oats but threw in a handful of wheat chex, bran flakes, corn flakes, dried sweetened cranberries, and combined sliced almonds with the pecans. thanks for a great recipe!

Sweet Maple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2005
I gave this 5 stars because it had a very nice flavor but it was a big mess, the oatmeal wouldn't stay on during cooking, there was more in the skillet than on the chops. Next time I am going to try putting the oatmeal in the blender first to make a powder out of it, then dip the chops in it. Also, I see no need to use a whole quart of oil, next time I will use a small amount in the skillet, I think that the oats will stick to the chops better that way. I don't see why all that cream is necessary, seems like you would only need a cup to dip the chops in. But it does have a nice flavor and is worth trying again, and hopefully I'll get better results

King Crab Appetizers

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2005
I used pie dough to make these and thought that they turned out pretty good but I do agree with other's comments that more crab is needed.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Didn't have any beer so I took the tip of another reviewer and used chicken broth and it was great! It is definitely best with the chips, cheese and sour cream. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2004
This tastes like a creamy brownie. I loved this cake and my rediculously picky family loved it too. I dusted the top with powdered sugar to enhance the appearance. Thanks for the recipe.

Sauerkraut Meatball Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2004
I really am not a big fan of kraut but I still liked this soup. My husband ate 4 bowls. I didn't have any boullion so I used canned chicken broth. I am adding this to New Years Day dinner along with the other traditional kraut dishes. Thanks for the recipe!

Whit's Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2004
Loved this dish! The only change I made was to bake my chicken and then used 1/2 cup chicken broth from the cooked chicken in place of the water and I increased the amount of green chile's to around 6 oz's. This will be a regular item at my house.

Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2004
I made this recipe exactly as directed and thought it was just "okay". So I added about a cup and a half of cubed velveeta with a little milk, melted it in the microwave and added it along with 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon cumin and about 1/4 teaspoon of chili pepper flakes. It was great and I will continue to make it this way, it was delicious.

Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2004
This drink is nuttin but good! I used mocha cappucino and added some instant coffee and I can't wait to try other variations of the recipe. I thought that a touch of Bailey's might be a nice touch when relaxing in the evening. Thanks for sharing this, I will be making this often!

I didn't have the corn tortilla's on hand so I crushed corn chips and used those instead. It turned out well and I had a lot of requests for the recipe.

Chile Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2004
This dish went untouched at our family get together. I think that it needs something added to it, shredded chicken, olives or something to add a little flavor.

Fusion Chili

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2004
This chili is great. I used regular Italian sausage instead of the "hot Italian" and I thought that it had just the right amount of "kick". Thanks for a great recipe.
