Veggie Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2007
I would have rated this 4 stars but am giving it "5" based on the rave reviews of my guests. There were other appetizers but this vege pizza was the most popular. I was out of broccoli so I substituted with cauliflower. Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe!

Turkey Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
This is good, it resembles the taste of a homemade turkey pot pie.

Tumbleweeds

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2006
I really blew my diet with this one! You can't eat just one, they are addictive. These are so quick and easy to make but I strongly suggest you buy a quality brand of butterscotch chips to avoid problems with melting. Thank you for sharing your recipe, I really enjoyed these!

Cindy's Tasty Wings

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2006
As suggested, I reduced catalina by half. I baked the frozen wings for 35 minutes, drained off fat and then added sauce. It was very good.

Salmon Patties III

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2006
This is my favorite salmon patty recipe. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry, I will skip the potato and just throw in some dry instant mashed potato flakes. thanks for sharing your recipe!

Strawberry Butter Cracker Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2006
Loved this pie! The only change I will make is next time, I'll use 3 or 4 cups of strawberries and increase the whipped topping to 12 oz's, but it is still really good just as it is, I just happen to love strawberries.

Vanilla and Chocolate Delight

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
I made this in a 9" pie plate, kept the amount of cream cheese and sugar the same but cut the pudding down to one box of chocolate, using only 1-1/2 cup of milk so the pudding would be nice and thick. It was very good, looked very pretty and my husband absolutely loved it. thanks for sharing your recipe

Mexican Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
I skipped the bread crumbs step and cooked these on the grill. Oh wow! what a great flavor! I only used half a packet of taco seasoning as my husband cannot eat really spicey food and after I wrapped them in the tortilla shell, I grilled them to give it a crispy shell. I never told my husband it was ground turkey (he wouldn't have eaten it otherwise) and he never suspected a thing! In the words of my husband...."HONEY THESE ARE DELICIOUS"! Thanks for a great recipe.

We really enjoyed this. It does need seasoned, I added cayenne pepper and cajun seasonings. Yummy!

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
Maybe it's just my taste in dip but I did not like this dip and neither did anyone out of a crowd of 20 people on New Year's Day. Threw the whole thing out.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
This is pretty good but I like the "Southern Comfort" brand eggnog much better.

Spicy South of the Border Spinach Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2005
I have made this dip exactly as directed and it's a little bland but still very good. I now skip the can of green chili's but use Rotel and add garlic, chili powder, cumin and a jalepeno if I have one. I have used mont. jack and have used cheddar. I think I like it with cheddar better. I cut the spinach in half and it is plenty. I love this dip, I make it more than any other and it always gets gobbled up!

Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2005
I took a shortcut and used two 9 inch ready made crusts and the filling was enough to fill both crusts to the very top. I added 1/4 cup coffee liquor and topped with a chocolate cream sauce. This is really good, but I won't serve this after a large meal like Thanksgiving dinner again, people just aren't in the mood for a rich heavy dessert like this after eating themselves sick. Even though it was delicious, I ended up throwing half of it out.

Double Layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
I rated this 5 stars even though it was way too much peanut butter for me because I can see how a peanut butter lover would be in heaven with a piece of this pie. Next time, I'll cut the amount of peanut butter to 2/3 cup. It tastes like a Reese "Big Cup".

Quick and Easy Spinach Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
I did not care for this...(sorry). I took it to a get-together and no one ate it. I will probably try it again, but next time I will add some ingredients, maybe roll the dough in butter, garlic and parmesan before baking and add some seasoning to the inside.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
Very good lasagna recipe. I doubled the amount of basil, garlic and Italian seasonings and added a 10 oz box of frozen spinach (thawed and water removed) which I think enhanced the overall flavor. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Old Fashioned Apple Cream Pie

Very good. I think it needs more apple topping so next time I will use 5 cups of apples instead of 4. Thanks for sharing this very nice recipe. :)

Chocolate Banana Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2005
This is a very good pie. I have a similar recipe using a graham cracker crust and cool whip instead of whipping cream. The outcome tasted the same so next time I will just use cool whip and save myself some trouble.
