Southern Dill Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
Absolutely loved this recipe, exactly what I was looking for. I swear I have a whole jar of dried dill weed un my cupboard but couldn't find it, so I used dill pickle relish instead, and it was still the bomb. Thanks for a great recipe!

Aunt Bert's White Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
This cake was ok, was a bit eggy and dense for my taste but my family liked it. I was going for a lighter, fluffier cake so will keep looking.

Sauerkraut Rye Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2010
Loved this! Don't rinse and drain the sauerkraut unless you want all the flavor to go down the drain; I just squeezed it out a little. Really nice and hearty, I used it for French dips. I dipped the tops in sea salt/caraway seeds/garlic powder before baking, and they were outstanding! I made 9 rolls, they were a little small so next time I'll make 6 rolls. It's a keeper, thanks for sharing!!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Have made this recipe for my family for the last 2 years, was absolutely delicious both years. I'm now expected to bring it each year. To keep it moist, I pour a little more chicken broth over the top before the butter. Fantastic stuffing!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
Would have given this recipe only 3 stars if I'd rated it before I tasted the finished product. It was hard to mix the flour/chocolate chips/walnuts mixture into the dough during the last step, and the dough is a lot more crumbly than I'm used to. But the finished product tastes good, holds together really well with no crumbling, is easily transported without damaging its appearance, and will be the recipe I'll choose when I have to make a bunch of cookies to take somewhere. Thanks for the new addition to my recipe box!

Really like this recipe, substituted nutmeg since I was out of cloves and they came out just fine. Very moist and chewy. Thanks for the great recipe!!

Grandma's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2004
I love this recipe and have made it many times. I, too, reduce the amount of cloves in the recipe, but that's the only change I make.
