This is very good! A great alternative to our old standby of beef and bean chili.

Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
I followed everything in the recipe, except I decided to add the peas. As a main dish soup, I wanted lots of vegetables. This recipe has become my favorite chicken noodle soup recipe. It is simply amazing!

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2009
This recipe has become a part of our regular rotation. Not only is it healthy and uses very little in the way of pre-packaged; my husband really likes this dish.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
This casserole has gone over real well with the family. My husband made it and took it to his men's breakfast; he was one of the few to have no leftovers. It is recipe that can be changed some and still taste great. I have used a 1/2 pound bacon, crumbled and 1/2 pound spicy sausage; for a change of pace.

Very good flavor and cooks while I was cooking my meat. Definitely a keeper. I can see the potential to use other vegetables as well.

Cider-Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2009
It was nicely flavored. I wasn't so sure about using the drippings for gravy, I felt it might have a distinct apple taste.

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

This was a lot of work but it was amazing. My son said that I needed to make this more and could go into business. Needless to say, it was a hit.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
I made the modifications that another reviewer had made and it was the best stew I have ever made. I gave this four stars because the recipe had been modified. With modifications, it is definitely a 5 star recipe or better.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
This recipe is outstanding! This is far better than Chicken Helper's or Macaroni Grill's boxed meal. I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing about it.

Sweet Potato Casserole IV

A very good recipe, much better than my old recipe, which was way too sweet for everyone. This is the first year I didn't have to throw out my sweet potatoes.

Grilled Cheese and Peanut Butter Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
ewww! I like grilled cheese qute a bit. I also love a piece of hot piece of toast with peanut butter. Mixing them makes for a disgusting combination. My dad made these for me as a child; I sat for hours trying to choke this down. When dad left the room, I threw it away...hoping he wouldn't find out!

Death By Chocolate III

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
I brought this to a church picnic, we were holding at the beach. Wow, it was gone before I could get some! I had a request for the recipe. The requestor said that it was better than the other Death by Chocolate recipes she had tasted in the past because the whip topping seemed to break up the chocolate. It was more a slow death by chocolate. The presentation in a small punch bowl looks pretty too.

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
This is the first time I have made Irish Soda Bread. It was a hit with my Corned Beef boiled dinner. My 18 year old son, who works at Panera Bread, said I should go be a baker there since it was so good.

This was very good. Everyone went back for seconds and thirds. I followed the advise of another reviewer by layering the potatoes, cooked sausage, mushrooms, red pepper, cheeses then poured the egg mixture over it.

We really enjoyed this lasagna. My husband said the Italian sausage gives it a similar taste to pizza. I followed this exactly as it was written in the recipe.
