Excellent! If you have a Kitchenaid stand mixer, you can use it to knead in the butter.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
Sooo delicious and easy. I took some other reviewers advice and reduced sugar to 1/4 cup. Also, I used all-purpose flour (because I didn't have any bread flour) and it still turned out great! Thanks for the super recipe!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
Awesome! This will be my "go-to" recipe from now on. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the oddly smooth tops. Next time I will try adding cream of tartar like someone else suggested to make the tops crackly.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies III

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2011
Yummy! They remind me of the cookies my mom used to make. Like little bites of banana bread. In fact, if I call them "Banana Oatmeal cookies" my kids won't eat them. But if I call them "Banana Bread Bites" they gobble them up!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
Delicious! I accidentally used all white sugar because I didn't read the recipe closely enough and I had to use some Gala apples because I didn't have enough Granny Smiths and it was still very good. Also, I used a full top crust, not lattice, because I'll use any excuse to eat MORE pie crust! :)

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
They were excellent! I had to use all-purpose flour instead of bread flour (because I didn't have any). The crust wasn't quite as chewy as I wanted, but maybe because I used the wrong flour. Definitely a keeper.

BLT Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
Dressing was a little too garlicky for us. My daughter said it actually burned her mouth! Very yummy though. Will definitely make again, only next time, will only use 1/2 tsp garlic powder.

Excellent! I left out the red pepper because I have little kids. I also used only 1/2 the black pepper. Really yummy. I will never buy a packet again!

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
Awesome! This is the first time I've tried to make peanut brittle and it is delicious! I used 1 tsp vanilla and 1.25 C peanuts. I lined my cookie sheet with non-stick foil. Brittle peeled off easily and no clean up. Definitely going to be a Christmas favorite!
