Truly Delicious Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2014
This really was a great, simple, and quick recipe. I usually roast brussels sprouts and was making dinner and forgot it took 35-40 min. So I found this recipe in hopes for them to cook faster. It was great! We had it with grilled marinated pork chop and home made mac n cheese. The brussels sprouts went great for a perfect summer meal.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2014
This was excellent. I didn't have much time for the marinade and only did so for about 20 min. I'm sure it would be even better if marinaded longer! I did not add any salt, I try not to cook with it unless it is something that absolutely needs it, this didn't. Also, I used olive oil instead of vegetable. We are trying to eat healthier and this one is a keeper! Thanks!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2014
This is one of my husband's favorite things that I make. Before adding the wing sauce, I pour it into a container and mix the whole packet of ranch seasoning. I also add 2 cloves minced garlic. Then pour over 4 chicken breasts. Cook on low 4-5 hrs, shred, add butter, then let cook on low for another 30-45 min. Serve on toasted hoagie rolls with melted american cheese, blue cheese dressing. YUM!

The Best Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2014
I made this last weekend and going to make again this weekend! Def. not an overpowering taste at all. I usually like steak on it's own but this gave the steak great flavor...I used filet Mignon and broiled...melted in your mouth! I did not use any salt just because I try not to cook with it. I doubled the recipe this time because I have 3 large steaks, so we'll see how that comes out. Yum so good. I made with the roasted veggies recipe on this site which also has balsamic...went very well together!

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2014
Love this recipe! Healthy and sooo good. This is the 2nd time making this. I made the "marinade" the night before and let it sit. I ended up cooking a little longer...like 10 minutes...but that's to your liking. I did red bliss potatoes this time and I didn't peel them. I also added carrots. You can really add whatever you want. Common sense, some things will take longer than others. So good with a great steak! Even better the next day, great for left overs for another dish. Thank you!!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2013
This was a hit with spiral ham! Made a lot of food and this was eaten the most! Wanted to do something different with ham other than mashed potatoes....went great! I followed other reviews and chopped the onion instead, added a little minced garlic with the onion in the in between layer. Also, added almost half cheese mixture in between layers. I covered for 1 hour then the last half hour left uncovered to brown the top! It turned out great. After the first hour I also stirred it a bit before uncovering and browning. I forgot to spray the bottom like other reviewers said...wish I did...stuck a bit but helped stirring after 1 hr. Will make again!!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2013
I don't say this often but this was better than my Mothers! I added pearl onions and used a smaller top round roast because my crock pot was smaller. I cooked for the full amount of time with baby carrots and cubed potatoes to make a complete meal. I added a little bit of wondra quick flour mix to the gravy when it was done to make a little more thick (it would have been great without it too). It was so goooood!!! Everyone loved it! Suggestion: serve with dinner rolls to scoop up the gravy!
