Truly Delicious Brussels Sprouts

This really was a great, simple, and quick recipe. I usually roast brussels sprouts and was making dinner and forgot it took 35-40 min. So I found this recipe in hopes for them to cook faster. It was great! We had it with grilled marinated pork chop and home made mac n cheese. The brussels sprouts went great for a perfect summer meal.

Grilled Salmon I

This was excellent. I didn't have much time for the marinade and only did so for about 20 min. I'm sure it would be even better if marinaded longer! I did not add any salt, I try not to cook with it unless it is something that absolutely needs it, this didn't. Also, I used olive oil instead of vegetable. We are trying to eat healthier and this one is a keeper! Thanks!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

This is one of my husband's favorite things that I make. Before adding the wing sauce, I pour it into a container and mix the whole packet of ranch seasoning. I also add 2 cloves minced garlic. Then pour over 4 chicken breasts. Cook on low 4-5 hrs, shred, add butter, then let cook on low for another 30-45 min. Serve on toasted hoagie rolls with melted american cheese, blue cheese dressing. YUM!

The Best Steak Marinade

I made this last weekend and going to make again this weekend! Def. not an overpowering taste at all. I usually like steak on it's own but this gave the steak great flavor...I used filet Mignon and broiled...melted in your mouth! I did not use any salt just because I try not to cook with it. I doubled the recipe this time because I have 3 large steaks, so we'll see how that comes out. Yum so good. I made with the roasted veggies recipe on this site which also has balsamic...went very well together!

Roasted Vegetables

Love this recipe! Healthy and sooo good. This is the 2nd time making this. I made the "marinade" the night before and let it sit. I ended up cooking a little longer...like 10 minutes...but that's to your liking. I did red bliss potatoes this time and I didn't peel them. I also added carrots. You can really add whatever you want. Common sense, some things will take longer than others. So good with a great steak! Even better the next day, great for left overs for another dish. Thank you!!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

This was a hit with spiral ham! Made a lot of food and this was eaten the most! Wanted to do something different with ham other than mashed potatoes....went great! I followed other reviews and chopped the onion instead, added a little minced garlic with the onion in the in between layer. Also, added almost half cheese mixture in between layers. I covered for 1 hour then the last half hour left uncovered to brown the top! It turned out great. After the first hour I also stirred it a bit before uncovering and browning. I forgot to spray the bottom like other reviewers said...wish I did...stuck a bit but helped stirring after 1 hr. Will make again!!

Baked Penne with Italian Sausage

I followed the recipe exact. I used cut up Italian chicken sausage instead of ground sausage...wasnt sure the recipe didnt specify. It came out great!! Even my brother loved it...he is very picky. I thought I would have leftovers for the weekend. Gone that night!! Thanks, will def make again!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I don't say this often but this was better than my Mothers! I added pearl onions and used a smaller top round roast because my crock pot was smaller. I cooked for the full amount of time with baby carrots and cubed potatoes to make a complete meal. I added a little bit of wondra quick flour mix to the gravy when it was done to make a little more thick (it would have been great without it too). It was so goooood!!! Everyone loved it! Suggestion: serve with dinner rolls to scoop up the gravy!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Great crock pot recipe! I listened to other reviews and put biscuits in 2 hrs before done. I added carrots to make it more of a complete meal. Will make again and again!!
