Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
This has become my favorite potato soup recipe. I doubled it for company & there still wasn't enough because everyone kept coming back for more. I did change just a couple small things. I caramelized the onions & celery in a tiny bit of olive oil. I also added about 2 cups of leftover mashed potatoes to help thicken the soup. I served it with cheddar bay biscuits & had little bowls of chopped bacon, chives, & fresh shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese for garnish. This is fantastic for a warm-you-up/comfort food on cold winter nights!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
For something so decadent this was very simple to make. The reward outweighs the effort by a mile. Everyone raved and I'll do this again. I covered the cake cake in a bittersweet chocolate ganache but next time I'll try a milk chocolate ganache.

Cinnamon Bun Icing

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
Really good and easy. I like more of a cream cheese flavor so next time I may increase the amount of cream cheese and reduce the powdered sugar.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
This ia an excellent, spicy, but not to spicy soup. I don't care for some of the ingredients individually, but when all these flavors come together it's a delicious balance. I didn't change a thing. Leftovers the next day are even better.

I only changed the temp to 350 as suggested. These held together well and taste fantastic! A new favorite in our house.

Crab Cakes II

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2006
This was a big hit with my husband. He said he wished he hadn't eaten earlier so he could eat more. I did add a little extra worcestershire, a couple tsp. of lime juice, & a little Old Bay. They held together just fine once the first side was done. This will be added to my regular meal rotation! Thanks!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2004
I don't even like salmon normally, This is just fantastic! Broiled or on the grill. We make this a lot. If you don't like this, you will NEVER like salmon.
