Journalist for the oldest English language print publication on the Iberian Peninsula, in addition to having a website and free lance writing worldwide. Linguistics are a big interest of mine, hailing from a paternal Italian family and a maternal French Swiss family, in addition to having lived in South America and Mexico for 3 years when I was studying at University for my Journalism degrees.

My paternal Granmother's Trattoria regional Italian. My Mom's French regional classics. Seasonal Shellfish & Fish from norther Spain's Basque Country & Greek traditional classics.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My paternal grandmom or Nonna Margherite, owned a Trattoria, and when she passed on at the age of 97; she left me all her books in Italian; and thus, I have been translating them, with my younger daughter who also speaks Italian proficiently and bilingually. We are also translating my Mom Eva´s recipes and her mom Margot´s recipes into English. So we are busy ladies.

Banana Banana Bread
I have been checking recipes all morning, as my husband loves Banana Bread Cake ... And thus, I thought to prepare a homemade one. Your recipe is the 1st, I have encountered that is so simple ... I am a wonderful gourmet cook, as I live in the Mediterranean; however, I have not prepared many bread cakes before; just tiramisú and fresh fruit pies. I like the ease of the recipe; and shall be preparing it next week and shall photograph ! Thank you for posting.

Brodetto (Fish Stew) Ancona-Style
Hailing from Veneto, and having a home in Puglia, on the Adriatic, Brodetto di Pesce, is a staple holiday and special occasion dish for us. I had just encountered Jason´s recipe this morning, thus, since we are travelling, preparing it would be impossible tonight; however, I am going to prepare with Lobster, on the 31st for New Year´s Eve. BUON NATALE, MERRY CHRISTMAS, from new member: Margaux Cintrano.
