Samhain Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
delicious! I made this with butter instead of oil, and split the white sugar with brown. Great color, shape, and taste.

Dishpan Cookies II

Reviewed: May 8, 2012
Cookie perfection! my 2 little ones ate them up! There was something really tasty about the corn flakes, and the coconut was perfect! Im a chocolate person, and even the bites without chocolate chips were great! I halfed the recipe, and then only baked half of that. 2 days later, I baked the other frozen half. YUM!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: May 7, 2012
Yes, this is it. A light and fluffy delicious tasting pancake! These must be eaten fresh, though. The recipe is HUGE, so I had tons of leftovers, so next time I will half it for me and my 2 kids. The leftovers did not taste very good. We added blueberries and also had plain, and they were excellent. No butter or syrup needed!

Mary's Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
the flavor is excellent, the texture when making the dough is very good. My kids cut out several shapes with cookie cutters. While they were baking, they spread and puffed a little so it wasnt a precise shape like the cookie cutter, but it was still recognizable. We then decorated them with icing. Overall, a good tasting cookie and a good time.

The Best Thai Coconut Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
This soup is perfect. I did not add any sugar, and did not need salt. I couldnt afford shitake mushrooms, so I used those cheaper ones in the grocery store. I added peas and carrots. YUM!!!

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2011
What a delightful little recipe! I like to make them all different. I use slightly less sugar and the recipe turns out great. I have also used splenda, and stevia, with great results. You can substitute oreos for the wafers. To make other flavors, add what you want! This recipe is very forgiving. For example, I made a kahlua version of this. I simply added a 1/4 c kahlua, 1/4 c cocoa to the mixture, and viola, Yummy Kahlua cheesecakes. Do the same for Baileys. Add chocolate chips to the top and press in slightly, before baking.

Wyoming Cowboy Cookies

delicious! I love the texture in these cookies. Be sure not to overbake them. Remove them from the oven when still slightly soft. Let cool on pan about a minute, then remove.

Best Brownies

This is chocolate cake, not brownies. It tastes pretty good though! Fluffy, chocolatey goodness. And the best part is the cocoa. Easy!

there isnt anything delicious about this recipe. They looked good but did not taste good at all. They need flavor added.

Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
these were tasty. But they are not 5 stars. I got a beautiful cookie with a delicate flavor and texture. The batter was pretty good. There is a definite difference in regular choc chip cookie recipes and this one. For purists who love their Tollhouse, this isnt for you.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
I did what a reviewer said and used part sugar and part brown sugar (because I was out of white sugar). I used canned pureed sweet potatoes because that is what I had on hand, so I didnt add butter. It came out delicious.

a beautiful presentation. The flavor was bland. It needs something. Maybe it will be better in the morning after the flavors blend?

this is very good, but very bland. An excellent recipe to build upon. Add your own spices or some pepper.

Onion Pan-Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
quick and easy is what these should be named. Very good, family loved it. Thanks for adding this simple recipe! These are the kind I love. I was a little nervous it would be salty but they were perfect. I used 1/2 a package of the onion soup mix on 3 tiny pork chops. I only used 2 T of olive oil.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops and Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
this is an excellent base recipe. I used pork roast instead of chops. I did 4 hours on the slow cooker. I added the rice 2 hours into the bake. I added water, onions, onion soup mix, peas, pepper, and a little more water after I noticed the rice a little dry. I didnt add anything else, so I didnt do this recipe exact. It came out wonderful. My hubby says his mom would put the rice underneath the meat so it gets all the juices and IS mushy, which they like. Since I added my rice late, and on top, it wasnt mushy. It was perfect!!!
