About this Cook
Stay at Home Mom to twin girls. A HUGE pet Peeve of mine is when someone changes a recipe, adds ingredients or screws around with the technique... then has the nerve to give it a bad review!
My favorite things to cook
Southern/Cajun, New England Fare, Mexican and Italian
My favorite family cooking traditions
The holidays were always very special for my family. I can remember my grandparents cooking for what seemed like days when I was a kid. I've followed that tradition with baking lots of goodies in the days approaching the holiday season. I hope to continue the tradition with my girls someday.
My cooking triumphs
having a published cookbook :)
My cooking tragedies
I'm not very good at cooking fish or any sort (unless you count fish sticks!). I always tend to overcook it and can never get it quite right.

Garlic Bread
I did make a couple of changes per other reviews. I tripled the garlic and garlic powder, used only 1/2 the black pepper, and doubled the cheese. It was SO good. My house smelled amazing too. Perfectly paired with spagetti and meatballs. My daughter even ate it for breakfast!

Easy Apple Crisp
Now I know why New Englanders need cheddar cheese with their apple pie and crisp. This was SOOO sweet. Next time I'll put in only 1/4 cup of brown sugar, especially since the cake mix already has sugar in it. I also added 1/2 cup of oats and that helped.

Juicy Roasted Chicken
This was probably the juiciest chicken ever! I followed the directions to a T.. didn't change a thing except I had an 8 pound chicken and it took 3 hours to cook... but I'd make this again in a heartbeat!
