Garlicky Quinoa and Garbanzo Bean Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2013
Delish but note that quinoa is also a complete protein, not just a grain. A nice touch is to cook the quinoa in vegetable broth then proceed. Can't go wrong with this dish

Delish and a keeper. I made this tonight. Both myself and my husband thought it was great..I used more garlic than what the recipe calls for but everything else was the same..ALSO I used fresh Feta, it makes such a huge difference in any recipe.

Butter Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
DELISH!!!!! Delightfully easy to make and very tasty. I had a little trouble with my cookie press for some reason so I just rolled the dough out and cut with Christmas cutters. Baked them at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes depending on thickness. You can decorate them with icing, sprinkles or color the dough.. FANTASTIC

Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers

Followed directions exactly using large red peppers. Did not add additional salt although I did season with pepper Quick and Easy, especially if your use the frozen microwaveable brown rice, It's Ready in minutes and it speeds up prep time. Hubby liked them as well so we will be making them again.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I have been making this recipe for 20 years. Try mixing up the pudding flavors. Try Chocolate Fudge with milk chocolate chips. White Chocolate pudding or French Vanilla with Macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips is also outstanding. You can't go wrong with this recipe and they freeze very well.

Ultimate Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
This recipe deserves nothing less than 5 stars. Anyone that suggests it has too much of anything is not following directions or measuring accurately. Perfect in every sense of the the meaning and also wonderful over linguini. Loved the Avacado addition, adds a perfect touch of color!!!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
OHHHHH MYYYYYY this is so good and so easy. I made 4 batches thru the Christmas Holidays and used some as gifts in cookie containers. This will take a permanent spot in my Christmas Cookie/Candy recipe collection. Having said that, Christmas is not the only time of year that I will be making this fudge.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
Although I can't pronounce the name of this dessert very well, I decided to try it just the same. Had 12 guests for dinner made several desserts. One guest said she thought HER cheesecake was the best ever until she ate this one. I made as directed but did spread cherry pie filling over the cheesecake batter before I put the crescent rolls on top. THIS IS OUTSTANDING AND DO NOT ELIMINATE THE HONEY STEP AND BE SURE TO USE MEXICAN VANILLA

Lasagne Verdi al Forno

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2005
Alrighty, I found the pasta easy to make if you use your food processor. A good marble or teflon rolling pin makes rolling the pasta a breeze. No real need for a pasta machine here. You can also make the pasta sheets the night before, layer between wax paper and refrigerate to expedite things in the kitchen the next day.(do not cook pasta until ready to use) I decided to double both sauces just in case I felt a single batch was too little. (another reader complained of too little sauce) If you use a small food processor to chop your vegetables you will be done in record time. I used most of both sauces when I assembled the lasagna. What a delightful aroma while the Ragu was cooking. This is not difficult, it just sounds that way. Excellent flavors! Do try this one, you will be pleased, my guests certainly were.
