I used a 5 lb pork roast and, with all the liquid, you can get away with using a bigger piece of meat (6-7 lbs) with the same proportions for the remaining ingredients in the recipe. I added the onions and garlic to the bottom of the cooker and mixed the liquids together in a bowl before pouring over the roast. I'd cut the brown sugar down in half (a bit too sweet). I also used black pepper liberally over the roast. We have never had pulled pork before today (Super Bowl Sunday) and it will be a great recipe for serving a crowd.
