I made a big mistake this year when I made this recipe. These cookies were difficult to roll, bland tasting, and I had a terrible keeping them from burning. I lowered the oven temp, but even that didn't seem to help. I really kept my eye on them, but they burned so quickly! One minute they were fine (almost done) and the next thing I knew they were black on the bottom. I made lots of cookies for Christmas and I used new, good quality cookie sheets with parchment paper, so...who knows? The recipe I usually use is great and I never should have switched. I will post my sugar cookie recipe the minute I get a chance. I hope you try it. They are the best sugar cookie I have eaten!
