About this Cook
I recently started a nutrient dense diet. I also have eliminated soy and preservatives due to migraines. So I have to make EVERYTHING myself! My idea of "cooking" over the last 10 years was to start with something in a box and "improving" it.
My favorite things to cook
My husband hunts. So I am forced to learn how to cook venison. It is good when I find the right recipe! I also like any kind of meat as long as it is fresh with no additives. Fish: I mostly like salmon, catfish, and trout. I hate tilapia. (P.S. Read where tilapia comes from and how it's raised and you won't eat it anymore either!)

Turkey on thanksgiving. Ham on Easter. Homemade banana pudding in summer.

Challah in a Hurry
Very tasty bread! My kids loved it! It does take longer to rise and bake than you might expect, but mine turned out well. Does anyone know how long we're supposed to knead the dough? I wasn't sure because I usually use a bread machine so I'm not knowledgeable on dough kneading. I'm wondering if that has an effect on the rise time? Also, I made it exactly according to recipe. It was delicious.

Bulk Venison Breakfast Sausage
I haven't tried this recipe, but I could find no other way to ask a question about it! Do you have to add pork? Would it be icky if I just used ground venison? Also, I saw you are from Hanceville, AL. I'm related to everyone there. Seriously. My dad grew up there and he's from a big family. :)
