OUTSTANDING!Ingredients were simple and the chili was probably the best I have ever eaten. We top it off with a little shreaded cheese and dolop of sour cream. My husband and in-laws raved about it! This is destined to be a repete recipe in our household.

Baklava

I never made Baklava before or worked with phyllo dough for that matter so I was not sure what to expect. I have only eaten baklava once before and it was from the Biltmore Estates Bakery in Ashville, NC. This recipe was simple to follow and the end result was delicious. I used pecans even though the recipe did not specify the exact kind of nuts to use. This is a must try!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Great recipe! I could not find boneless pork ribs so I used a Boston pork roast. I cut it into rib size pieces. They cooked in about 3 hours vs. 4 hours stated in the directions, so keep an eye on them when cooking. BBQ turned out delicious!! Will definitey make again!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This slow cooker version of chicken n dumplings was pretty tasty. I used cream of chicken and herbs soup which added extra seasoning. Prior to adding the biscuits, I flattened them with the palm of my hand and cut them in to strips. The final product turned out great!

Super Sausage Gravy

The recipe was alright. I cut the ingredients in half to suit the servings for my family of three. My husband stated that it was good, but was a little bland. Maybe next time I will add more salt and pepper and use Neese's Sausage.
