Baked Ziti I
Made it tonight. Was awesome! Had to tweak based on what I had on hand. I didn't have jars of pasta sauce- had to kinda make it from scratch. 2 small cans of sauce, 2 cans of tomato paste, 1 can of spicy tomatoes(like Rotel) and two large tomatoes that were getting soft(i like firm tomatoes). I didn't have any provolone or Parmesan cheese, so I used what I had on hand - mozzarella sticks, shredded mozzarella, and 5 slices of cheddar(for the top). The finished product had a little bite to it, but it tasted like real Italian food - spicy and savory. Mixed with the ground beef was several spices; dry minced onions and garlic(yum), Mrs Dash, and parsley - while cooking. I think it turned out wonderful and I would definitely make this again!!! Very yummy and tasted awesome night one - can't wait to taste it after it sits for a day!

Teary-Eyed Fried Pork Chops
I made this recipe last night. I had to tweak it a bit because what i had on hand and what i did/did not want to do with the meat. Instead of flour, i used panko bread crumbs and added chili powder(and all the other seasons suggested) to it too -it didn't affect the taste, not too spicy-spiciness came in with the red hot! I didn't fry them, i cooked them in the George Foreman grill.) It was awesome! Like eating buffalo pork chops - YUM!! I like it spicy!
