Okay so aside from having to alter the recipe they weren't to bad. I put 1 3/4c flour rather than 1 1/4c, also I put 1 teaspoon of baking soda rather than 1/2 and I left out the salt and nuts. rather than dropping them I rolled them into (rather large) balls and baked them for 14mins rather than 12 to adjust for the the size (I like my cookies big and puffy rather than small and flat). They turned out not to bad, the outside was crunchy, not from being over cooked but from the way the recipe is I suppose. the inside was still nice and chewy but that might change after they cool completely. If I use this recipe again I will be using less chocolate chips as I found there were just way to many in this recipe after they were baked.
