Coconut Cream Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
I looked long and hard for a recipe of Coconut Cream Pie that tasted like the pie I use to get at the diner when I was younger. I finally found it! Awesome! I tried them all and this is a prize winner for sure. The only change I made was I used Coconut extract instead of vanilla. Thanks!!

I used orange cake mix by DUncan Hines and instead of the whip topping I mae a glaze with powder sugar and orange juice-was quite good.

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
This is the best recipe I have ever found! Some we rolled thick to make them chewy and some real thin tomake them like ginger snaps! I have baked gingerbreadmen for years and this is by far the best & spiciest i have tried!

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2005
I really loved this recipe. At first I was worried when it looked like it wasn't going to rise all the way but then I figured out-it's about a 1 lb loaf recipe. It came out really great. The ingredients were the sinmplest recipe I had found. I did use brown sugar instead of white and conola soft margarine. the old recipe I use to use called for honey and molasses. This I figured has less calories. It is a really light and non-bitter wheat bread.

Apple Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2004
Entered it in a bake-off at work and won 1st place. I used butterpecan cake the second time-yellow the first. Added apple pie spice to it and to the topping. Glazed it with a little icing sugar. It was all gone -real fast!!!Going to make it again tommorow for a party.
