Egg Rice Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
I love this combination! So easy and a wonderful alternative to basic egg salad for sandwiches. A big hit with the family.

Chicken with Lemon Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
Beautiful and delicious! This recipe is a keeper. Had the apple juice on hand, but will make probably have just white wine next time. Also, used tablespoons of flour instead of teaspoons, as others had written.

Lemon Pie Bars

Reviewed: May 28, 2012
I've been searching for just the right combination of flavors and consistency. The recipe is what I was looking and the cooking times are right. Important - let the crust cool some before pouring on the filling - I made the mistake first time of not waiting and it absorbed the filling. The filling will be very runny after 20 minutes, but don't cook it longer - it will firm as it cools.

Lemon Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
Very good - got raves from everyone. I've used all lemon or all lime from a bottle, depending on what I have on hand. Turns out great. In response to another person's comment about decreasing the butter. That happened once and it wasn't as good - a bit dry.

delicious!! This is a good variation on pecan pie. Used 1/2 the sugar and it was fine.

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2004
great tasting stew - I will definitely make it again. I browned the meat first, then simmered in a crockpot. Adjustments - am going to try dredging the meat in flour before browning (it was very watery, as some others have mentioned), it needed more liquid and at least 3 hours of simmering time using this method. Thanks.
